ON TOUR - TV DOCUMENTARY

In March 2025, Amsterdam Sinfonietta toured with pianist Bruce Liu, performing in fifteen concert halls across the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Poland, Slovenia and Liechtenstein. From Konzerthaus Berlin to Megaron Athens. The programme, longing for Italy, featured Chopin’s Second Piano Concerto, Tchaikovsky’s Souvenir de Florence and Weinberg’s Aria. Filmmaker Sören L. Schirmer captured the tour, offering a special glimpse into our way of working, the preparations, and the moments both on stage and behind the scenes. The Documentary film was aired multiple times on dutch national Television and was avaialbe for streaming on the largest dutch platform NPO+. A film by Sören L. Schirmer.
