Amsterdam Sinfonietta - Patrons in Estonia

During a European tour in march 2026, our Patrons joined the Amsterdam Sinfonietta in Tallinn, Estonia. Together, they visited the Arvo Pärt Centre in Laulasmaa, 35 kilometres from Tallinn, beautifully situated on a peninsula amidst magnificent natural surroundings - in a pine forest by the sea. As a special surprise for our donors, artistic leader Candida Thompson and pianist Marrit Gerretz performed Pärt’s iconic Spiegel im Spiegel in the centre’s intimate concert hall. The following day, the patrons explored Tallinn’s historic old town during a guided city walk. Towards the end of the afternoon, the programme gradually centred around Amsterdam Sinfonietta’s concert at the Estonia Concert Hall: the donors attended the orchestra’s dress rehearsal, and after the performance they joined the musicians for dinner on the top floor of Fotografiska Tallinn, overlooking the city lights.
